Car Show Judging

Post by rogerotto66s »

While I am reassembling my ‘66 “S” I would like to compare what I with a checklist used at car shows specifically for a MK1. Also would like to compare cars listed on Bring-A-Trailer.

If you have such a list please post or specify a link.

Now I compare to a list I have compiled primarily from the Parnell book and other topics on this (and other) forums.

Thanks in advance.

The attached was provided by someone in the US.
I am sure someone in Britain can provide something similar or add detail.
If you know someone please provide details.

If it is a Mini Cooper Register event, then you stand more chance of a trophy if your face fits better than your doors.

I would agree with that point at Stamford hall or anything run by the British mini club . It took me a few years of entering concours at beaulieu to win anything . With a lot of mini shows it's how shiny they are but I've found with the Mini Cooper register namely beaulieu that the detail and a correct car do come into it ... ... ken
