speedwell water gauge

Post by gillmo »

Hello,

I had a speedwell temperature gauge reconditioned by speedy cable, but I don't understand how to make the sender waterproof. I cannot attach photos for you to give me your opinion.
If you have pictures of the speedwell water temperature gauge sender, I would love you to show me.

Thanks

Not sure of your issue.. but ask have you fitted the needed spacing adaptor fitting into the Cyl; Head before your fit the Temp Gauge Sender ?
Best i remember Minispares sell them .

I have one of these original Adapters in my workshop.

Can make a pic tomorrow and give you the dimensions.

The adapter is then screwed in the Head like a normal sender. The Conus will seal it.

If you have a late, it's very easy to replicate.
