I'm going on Saturday only (Harewood Sunday).
The Newcastle and Durham MCR will be in their usual spot.

It is. Only a few years ago they were getting 40 entries or more. I guess the cost for drivers on a tight budget and the amount of events are the main cause for the drop in numbers. Croft Nostalgia just does not have the pull of the Silverstone Classic or the Gold Cup.

Hopefully the grid at the Gold Cup will be better.

I came back from this today, was watching a friend racing his Spridget which is in full historic trim at the moment, quite a handful as a result.

There were other things going on, a bit of an air display, lots of old military stuff on show and a reasonable selection of classic cars also on show. Various different things racing. Had I not been so tired I would have stayed to watch more. There were some minis there, and a solitary posh-spec ADO16.

For the entry fee of £11 it's really not that bad value, there's a good amount to entertain and it seems well organised. Worth it for the smells of the various old and racing machines trundling around.

I almost forgot the Mini Marcos and the Wolseley Hornet which may also be of interest here. Told you I was tired.

I was there on Saturday. The weather was pretty good and the turn out was also good. Sometimes the Saturday can be a bit sparse.

The HSCC Touring car races was a bit dull, due to the lack of entrants mainly. Sime jr. had a good battle with Godfrey in his Mini and Platts in his Chamois.

Here's a few of my favourites from the day.
