Interesting Arden item
An Arden produced converter plate to run a Side valve Ford engine on a pre war MG J2 Gearbox.

I know that it was a popular mod in the 1950s to fit a sidevalve Ford engine into prewar MGs (for simplicity and reliability rather than any performance gain!) but hadn't realised that Jim Whitehouse got involved! Not that it was impossible to modify the old Ford sidevalve of course.
