Hi guys, I've got this screen and don't know what car it's from. Does anyone recognise it and do the triplex markings say what it is?

I stuck Triplex M44 into the interweb and it came up with Triumph 1300/1500/Toledo/Dolomite. Comparing with pictures of actual cars it could be right.

Thanks. So what letters or numbers say what it could be?

The M44 is the unique part number for the glass. However this number is for Triplex made glass only. Other glass manufacturers may have used M44 for a different make and model of car. I think these codes were introduced in 1965.
M = The M number is a model number for the piece of glass, which identifies the type of construction. The M number is unique to the manufacturer, so an M number of M471 by one manufacturer could be different than glass labelled as M471 by another manufacturer. It identifies the glass construction, including the colour and thickness.

Pilkington brought up the remaining stock of the Triplex company in 1972 so they may be able to help in a definitive answer.
