Might be wrong place to post, but here goes.....lots of knowledgeable folks on here :D

Got MG midget diff a part all fine except looking at replacing diff bearings....and will have to re shim.

Ignoring the Midget Mania method of putting shims on outside of bearings to line up CW with pinion, is it possible to get decent result in home workshop.

Understand, how to get to appx shim size, calcs etc......

its just, is there another way to adjust shims to get the other required backlash other than removing the bearings each time :cry:

Or am I better off just passing to a specialist ?
