would be a shame if it accidently got burnt to the ground!

I always look out for cheap ones of them on ebay as I suspect that they are a cheap source or decent rear frames and other bits and bobs

I've often look at Arkley SS's the same way. A surprising number of them were built out of Frogeyes in the early '70s

I agree its a cheap source of 1100 spares as they often come with the 11 stud engine...this one does!!! The price is much less than buying a GT but its not really a GT.. lol

I've got it as i loved my last one and deeply regret selling it. I live a boring life, the magenta just seemed to liven things up!

Wheres the fun in getting to work alive all the time!

Ive attached the last one i built...admire it on the sand...near salt water!!! and it didnt rust away.

There's a yellow one in Gateshead that parks up outside a tyre fitters sometimes, although I have not seen it for a year or two.

What are those wheels on the White car in the photograph? Look like an odd Dunlop D1’s, quite like them

I was desperate for a Magenta when I was still at school. Had the brochures, stripped down a scrap 1300 and had all of the bits but when I left school it just never happened. Looking back, I'm kind of glad I didn't really, it's a wee bit uglier than I remember it back then.

Seems there isnt much love for the Magenta here! Still im over the moon!!!

I'll keep this one red, but i really fancy some banded mk1 steel wheels on it with 165 tyres. I have some 2 inch spacers to bring the back wheels out to make it a little more aggressive.

With the added bonus of being MOT exempt soon im not sure ill even bother with an 'zorst might just exit it under the side!!!! BWWARRRPPP
