just bought a set of this bloke, normal ebay gamble, but I can confirm that they are n.o.s, as per the photo and even came boxed

cheap price too

he has a few sets left, so might be worth buying a set to put on the shelf?

Good find!
I might be tempted into a set myself.
Even though i think that the rear shoes are one of those ADO16 parts that just refuse to wear out with so little brake effort over the rear wheels.

You need to use your car more....and drive faster!

I reckon on around c25,000 miles on correctly adjusted rear shoes, and an ADO16 has pretty much been my daily since 1991

Well, when i was young and fearless i used to cruise at the ton (wherever this was allowed officer  ) and i reckon that this is fast enough for most ADO16s.
But i must admit that with all my cars i am very light with the brakes, prefering to settle at a highish average rather than constantly accelerating and braking. It is also much more comfortable for the long suffering passengers. And i have never been near any race track.

My Austin has reached just over 270K now, with about 220K being in my hands, and if i remember well i must have changed the rear shoes twice. Not really because they were really worn, rather because i could!
Now that the car sees only some light local use, i think that a new set of shoes will last longer than me myself!
