Thanks for the kind words. I have plenty left to do, namely the body and interior. The A40 Farina club has been a fantastic resource for parts and advice.
I bought the car on ebay four or five years ago with the thought of a six month refurb...

I really love that too, congratulations on a perfect little jewel of a car.

With all the subtle styling tweaks and the colour you could get away with putting Innocenti badges (it looks more Innocenti than the actual Innocenti version to my eye) on that to confuse people. Easily one of the nicest looking A40 Farinas I've ever seen.

So I nearly adopted an A40 after being inspired by pigpen's amazing car. Couldn't believe I found one for sale on Craigslist here in the States (were they even offered here?) and it was only a 40min drive from home! I'm told it's a 1959 that was privately imported to California in 1968 (still has the fabled black license plates of the time). Apparently I missed it by a day, however it has not been picked up yet by the new owner (that has paid most of the selling price up front already). So there is still a slim possibility. Crazy how these adventures unfold sometimes.

I guess the good thing is not needing to find an early set of Cosmic's.

That is another good looking A40. I hope the buyer pulls out & you manage to swoop in.

I think the A40 must have been exported to the States I have seen a few in New England.
