So after reading all the posts etc on this page i thought id start one for one of my many 1100 progress. Meet my Morris 1100, runs and drives but wont win any beauty awards. The plan is to get it to the ADO16.INFO national rally at Coventry motor museum on Sunday 10th September.

The car is a 1968 Morris 1100, it has the original bill of sale, till receipt for the cash transaction, order form, buff log book and full service history. Sadly that is the best bit of the car!

Whites are about as different and difficult to match as you can hope for, they're worse even than black! Appliance white tends to be really bright where the (Snowberry?) white on yours is probably going to be much more yellow. Some whites are very blue, some even a little pink, and some you realise are closer to brown when you get an appliance white next to them. It's quite possibly the most difficult colour to get a good match between.

Still, if you're not worried about the finish too much and just want it smooth and shiny, it won't matter. I'm jealous of how much floor you still have there.

I wouldn't be too jealous its not much better than what you have if you started to poke. I wont poke as i wont have a car for the national! lol

It is Snowberry white, i might just get a tin mixed, its just appliance white will be whiter than a blue bonnet.

It was certainly very fun if not slightly annoying that the steering rack was banging its tits off. not dangerous to drive like that but dangerous to my sanity so that will be a fun job for the weekend.

As it was only zorst and fuel pump it failed on, ive left if to the garage to fix as ive supplied the parts they need.

FIRST TIME EVER!!!!
