Going through the local scrappy, I found an Austin 1100. 2 door, 1970, dark blue, with light blue/ grey interior.
Looks to have a good engine, i.e. Fresh looking paint, clean oil at the top.
interior looks good, but has a rip in the passenger seat.
All glass available.

Been told £200 for the engine and box.
Is it worth it, are any bits worth rescuing for you guys on here?

Suspension, subframes, interior, any decent body panels all worth saving.

£200 for an 1100 engine is a tad step ill add!

Smiths of Bloxham!

Engine was superb, 2nd gear synchro is non existent. I put the engine in that many years ago. FXF203H.

£200 is debatable but I guess any good 1098 and 1198 type 4 synchro box is worth that to someone.
