Very happy with it but still finding my feet. Both outer sills had been crudely patched more than 30 years ago but fortunately the membranes are fine. Closing panel on one side needs a repair and a couple of very small holes in the drivers footwell. Not too bad for a 67 but it was only on the road for 20 years so that's saved it. Beneath the underseal is like new apart from the sills. Could have been a lot worse.

Shame to see it go on hold, but i can fully see where you are coming from.

Keep me in mind if you do want to sell.

Cheers for that Robin. Since mine's not supposed to have them I'll just leave them off, don't need to give myself more work or the car more rust traps.

Pugz: I will. Hopefully I'll pick this up again later in the year when I've more free time and cash, if circumstances change I'll be sure to update here.

No problem. BMC probably deleted them as they knew that after a couple of years the sills would be unable to take the jacking loads. Mine are surprisingly solid but then it was only on the road from 67-87.

That was ten years more than they needed to rot!
