Should be straight forward right ?. Last one i did was 30 years ago so can't quite remember. Why did BMC not put an aperture in the boot floor to enable the sender to be removed ?.

On a 1300 is this?

Easy if all the nuts aren't rusty! They have a drain plug too, which is handy. Then just unto the is it 6? Nuts from the captive bolts, undo the jubalee clip on the filler neck and lower it down. A jack and a block of wood helps!

Yes that's the general idea (1100) however I'm told that reinstalling is very difficult as the anti roll bar prevents two of the screws from being entered. I've had a look and granted there isn't much room but didn't think it would be impossible.

(Should probably be titled Tank Refitting as that's the issue, removal is relatively easy if all of the screws move)
