I had the opportunity to buy two metro turbos...

A black mk2 and a silver mk1. The black car was clean, low ish miles, but had the engine in bits, the silver was complete but rotten.

He was asking 2k for both...

I wasn't too fussed about the mk2, and offered 800 for the mk1 (it was the same colour and year as my mk1 MG 1300)

He said he wanted them both to go as a pair, so I walked away...

Damnit....

ive got 3 vans, they are going through the roof so ive stockpiled them whilst i could get them at a good price.
