BTW, I reckon that using one of those monstrosities as a wedding car should be grounds for Divorce!

Robb works for a wedding hire business and they have a couple of these.

Referred to as Bouf-ords (as in 'they're boufin'), but very popular with brides and their Mums who know hee-haw about old cars. On that basis, they pay for themselves, but I think it's fair to say he's not a fan. :lol:

Haha, yes, they are REALLY ghastly tasteless pile of poo. The A7 special does have rather more about it than that! I agree that it isn't what A7 specials were all about and it is a little "over the top" . It has more the look of a Riley special to me - and I agree that an A7 is a much more basic and less powerful car. However, it is Much less expensive than the equivalent Riley or similar and somebody will have a lot of pleasure from it. It is a good looking car ;)

Horrible colour, i had a 2 door in this colour 20 odd years ago. Strong money for a plain Jane model.
