In all honesty there are still a good number of ADO16 cars that have survived very well. I have two that have never been restored or seen a welder and they are totally rust free without question. In our group over here in Ireland there are more than 20 ADO16 cars in superb original rust free condition. I have worked on the ADO16 and Minis for 45 years and must say in all sincerity likewise the Mini is very prone to rust in the very same way.

By the same token, I have a friend who restores Fiat 500s and BMW Bubble cars and he claims they would be equally prone to rust as the Mini or ADO16 cars.

Austin 3 litre manual overdrive
"Austin 3 litre 4 speed manual with overdrive. Very rare car with this gearbox option. This car has been off the road for many years. As you can see from the pictures, the car needs a lot of attention and therefore is only fit for spares or banger racing, it's upto you. There are some bits missing from the engine bay (carbs, distributor, brake servo and master cylinder, radiator, thermostat housing) not tried the engine so don't know if it turns. interior is complete and is black. Car rolls and has 4 good tyres."

unusual two tone scheme, but looks quite nice (bar the lumpy back arches!)

check out this heap!

I don't know whats worse, the HUGE dent in the roof, or the flood damage that looks to have been past the windows. :o :o :o

still, the number plates worth a load of money...., so that will make up for having to drive around in something that smells like a septic tank..,.

too be fair, it looks to have been a nice car, I wonder if it was a victim of the recent floods....
