I served my time in a '67 Wolseley 1100 back in the 1980's. It was written off once when someone drove into it and dented the rear corner and cracked a rear light lens. I fixed it for 10 quid and pocketed the rest of the £250 pay out. It was best when the hydro had deflated a bit (topped up every couple of months) because of the slammed stance and the reduction in body roll when driving briskly.

I might go and have a gander at that Morris Traveller at Mathewsons, it would be ideal for carting old tat to shows to flog off.

'68 Kestral that needs re-commissioning. Looks very tidy though, and if it does turn out to be a rusty pile of junk at least you've got a low mileage twin carb engine to play with.

Spotted that earlier and thought I'd seen the car before.

It does have an MoT now, the tyres have been replaced, along with the battery and coil. But why nick the seats? The interior looked much better before.

Maybe the reason for purchase was the seats and carpet for a restoration in progress?

@Rich: That's actually 3 cars for 500 Euro. Potential bargain if you can get them home cheap enough since you should be able to make one really good one out of all three and have parts spare.

@surf: Probably needs some bulkhead work, look at the carpets. It's also a bit odd that they hosed down the engine bay, what's that about?
