What I find odd is the car is a RHD Apache. You'd expect a Portuguese car to be a LHD Victoria from Authi!

Low mileage two owner 1300, looks good and regularly MOTd, no advisories. North of Inverness, probably makes it difficult to sell.

I'd seen that and thought it looked a reasonable buy. As you say though it is a LONG way to go and be disappointed if it isn't as good as it looks!

I know the owner of the Portuguese Apache. Portugal has only ever had four Apache cars, all South African built (RHD was only ever built), and imported to Portugal as second-hand cars. One car has been scrapped and André owns the other three. His Green one is up and running, and good enough to show. His Gold one has recently been re-sprayed and is nearing completion of the re-fit but as he owns around 50 cars and organises some of the Portuguese Classic Car events he just doesn't have the time nor inclination for this red one.

I first became aware of the availability of the red one last year but we've not been able to find a taker by just asking around, so following a conversation at the w/e André decided to put it on eBay - he genuinely believes it to be a VERY solid car worth saving and would be open to offers.

I'm not sure that there are anymore than four examples of the Apache in the UK and Ireland, and it's almost extinct in SA too!
