Can't you just cut the original and use a piece of tube to extend it over the new tank filler?

And for the filler neck, Ronnie? :lol:

yeah, I went for Vaseline as being Petrolium based shouldn't affect the rubber. Bloody thing was hard to grip after that :lol:

Round 2 this afternoon. Might cut the neck down below the ridge, as it's obviously tight enough.

My Dad managed to wangle a full cash refund from BMC back in 1967 for his A40....making up some story about diff whine, so that he could get an MG 1100 - he'd seen the light over fwd, and made such a nuisance of himself BMC gave him the dosh to shut him up! :lol: :lol: :lol:

This was his car...
