Really? It looks rather 1098 like to me. :geek:

Was just about to say much the same.

I spotted the small bore engine, but to be honest, the rest of the car is so awesome that it could be powered by a rubber band!!!

Simon & Rich,

Spot-on, noticed the small bore cylinder head and carburettors this morning. I only checked the block yesterday which being the 1098 cc from a side view looks the same as the S block, well spotted gentlemen. Lovely car for sure :)

This looks like a very nice late Mk1 Wolseley 1100. Looks to be Glen Green to me. Hope one of our 1100 Club members get it :D :D

Ooh, I'm liking that! and more importantly, so does Jennifer - we're looking for an auto as she's learning to drive and "doesn't understand gears - and if you can buy an automatic, why would you NEED to understand them?"

What do we think on a value (It's N/R) My guess is somewhere £2,500- £3000? the Auto may hold the value back a bit.

Al

EDIT - anyone going to be at the sale?

Al,

I think being a Mk1 it will make £5k or more. It is very rare to get a Mk1 automatic. They also have the full leather trim which is nice :D :D

You're probably right. Was looking at a 4 door '62 MG 1100 on Ebay the other week, but it had the look of a 2 pack poured on paint job in places which put me off.

Having a real hankering for early P6's with the strip dash as well.....

Al,

The Glen Green Wolseley Mk1 1100 sold today for £4,400 and add 15% (£660) fees at £5,060 a nice car :D :D
